So, I’m testing out my new gluten-free hamburger buns made from tapioca flour.
I put it in a tupperware box, and snuck it into Culvers. When we got our food, I scraped everything off the Culver’s bun, and plopped it onto my own.
Score one for controlling my own food choices!
Tapioca flour hamburger buns taste like poo, by the way.

Directions for making an hamburger. Stack food items in following order: bun, meat, toppings, bun. Culvers can’t figure that one out so I refuse to eat their burgers. (Good fries, though.)
I know! Ain’t I just?
They have GREAT fries, but yeah, sometimes the process doesn’t go so well.
The problem in my local Culver’s has always been the pickles. I like me some pickles, but not on burgers, and not when they make the bun soggy. So I say “No pickles, anywhere on the bun or in the basket or any other place on my order.” And my food comes back with pickles on it, every single time, without fail.
And the manager is usually very nice about it, and sometimes I get a free Shake Of The Day out of it, but it still happens consistently.
